MBA Velocity Program

2021/2022 REGISTRATION NOW OPEN

Our new, twice/wk, throwing and strength program is designed to give pitchers the opportunity to receive specialized training that aims to improve all areas of pitching. Although velocity is the end goal, our players will go through a comprehensive program that stresses the importance of arm care, stretching, and strength training to put up the numbers you’re looking for. 

In session 1 (5 weeks), players will:

  • Establish their baseline numbers.
  • Learn the importance of proper arm/body care habits.
  • Gain flexibility.
  • Build leg, core and shoulder strength.
  • Learn to throw with intent! 

In session 2 (5 weeks), players will continue building on all of the skills of session 1, and will also:

  • Translate the movements from session 1 onto the mound.
  • Craft effective pitch grips.
  • Record their velo gains!

In session 3 (5 weeks), players will continue building on all of the skills of the first two sessions and will also:

  • Refine their pitch grips to throw them with confidence.
  • Learn how to sequence their pitches in-game.
  • Record their velo gains!

Players are not required to sign up for all sessions, but if you're serious about putting up the numbers you want, it's highly recommended to sign up for all three. If you're looking to improve your velocity and confidence on the mound, this is the class you want to take!

14-15u: Thursdays, 5:30-7:00pm & Saturdays 10:00-11:30am

16-18u: Thursdays, 7:00-8:30pm & Saturdays 11:30am-1:00pm

$545 each session
